We are delighted to share that artwork by Mouth Artist, Henry Fraser is now displayed around the facility at STEPS Rehabilitation.

Henry was involved in a serious accident in 2009 on a Portuguese beach, resulting in him sustaining a spinal cord injury with paralysis from the neck down. In 2015, he was bedbound for several weeks due to a sore on his back – through boredom Henry discovered mouth painting.

Since he discovered mouth painting, Henry has created hundreds of pieces and recently, a musical based on his memoir called The Little Big Things ran from September 2023 – March 2024 at Soho Place in the West End.

Henry uses gouache to create unmistakeable portraits of various subjects, from animals to landscapes and still life pieces, producing pieces with bold colour against contrasting backgrounds.

Details of his latest exhibition can be found here.
