Originally from a small town in Essex, Joseph moved to Stoke-on-Trent in 2015 to study Physiotherapy at Keele University. After graduating in 2018, he began his career at the Royal Stoke Hospital as a rotational Physiotherapist, gaining valuable experience across a variety of acute care settings. Over time, he developed a particular interest in spinal cord injury and specialist rehabilitation, areas he continues to be passionate about.
Outside of work, Joseph is a dedicated sports enthusiast. He’s a big football fan—though he keeps his team a secret to avoid any friendly rivalries in Sheffield! A former competitive runner, Joseph admits that unfortunately, food was his downfall, but he recently completed his first marathon and has plans for many more. His running adventures have also sparked a passion for travel, giving him the perfect excuse to explore new places around the world.
