Amalee qualified as an Occupational Therapist from Sheffield Hallam University in 2009. She completed her junior rotations at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals where she gained experience across different clinical areas. Amalee then moved to London in 2012 where she pursued her passion for Neurological care. She worked within the stroke and specialist neurological rehabilitation services at Northwick Park Hospital where she further developed her skills and knowledge in this area.
Since moving back to Sheffield, Amalee has continued to work with adults who have complex neurological conditions at different stages of recovery, both within the NHS and private sector.
Amalee attends regular training courses and CPD opportunities to keep up to date with current OT practice. She has a keen interest in upper limb rehabilitation and is passionate about supporting individuals to participate in meaningful activities.
Amalee enjoys swimming and is a qualified swimming teacher.
Outside of work she can be found walking in the Peak District, travelling, and eating curry!
