Amy joined the STEPS team in January 2023 as a Rehabilitation Assistant. In March 2024, she transitioned into the psychology team as a Psychological Therapies Assistant, before progressing to the role of Assistant Psychologist in February 2026.

Before joining STEPS, Amy completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology, followed by a Master's degree in Health Psychology. During her studies, she gained a breadth of experience across various roles, including work in hospitality and as a student researcher. In her research role, she conducted and analysed interviews with allied health professionals involved in research. She also has experience working in the community care sector, supporting vulnerable adults with diverse care needs. In addition, Amy volunteered at SYEDA, an eating disorder charity where she helped facilitate the support groups.

Outside of work, Amy enjoys going to the gym, travelling, and enjoying a variety of delicious foods.
