Cecy has been working as a Speech and Language Therapist with adults who have swallowing and communication difficulties since 2018. She has worked in the NHS across settings including with individuals in their homes, in outpatient services, in stroke rehabilitation and on acute wards in hospital.
She enjoys working with individuals and their families to identify what is important to them, and help them come up with a plan to achieve it. Cecy has a particular interest in neurorehabilitation following acquired brain injury, and having worked at the acute stage she is looking forward to seeing clients improve and become more independent at STEPS. She is always looking to see how services can be developed to better meet patient and client needs and loves to come up with projects to trial changes!
Outside of work, Cecy enjoys walking, being on the allotment, and is slowly improving at drumming.
