Helena is a highly experienced yoga teacher with over 15 years of full-time teaching experience prior to the pandemic. She also offers Thai yoga massage, combining massage techniques, stretching, and acupressure to support physical and mental wellbeing.

Helena has completed additional training in yoga and mental health, meditation, mindfulness, and breathing techniques to enhance health and overall wellness. Early in her career, she worked part-time as a personal assistant for a mother and daughter with complex disabilities, which inspired her to establish Sheffield’s first chair yoga class, making yoga accessible to those unable to participate in traditional sessions.

Helena joined STEPS in 2020 as a Rehabilitation Assistant and now works part-time as a Complementary Therapist. In this role, she integrates her diverse skills to support clients’ holistic wellbeing, including leading weekly chair yoga sessions, relaxation groups, and offering massage therapy. She is currently undertaking specialist training in neuro massage.

Outside of work, Helena enjoys painting intricate mandalas, engaging in creative crafts, and running training programmes in yoga teaching and massage.
