Jennie qualified in 2017 with a combined degree in Nursing and Social Work at Sheffield Hallam University. During her final term Jennie joined STEPS as a Senior Rehab Assistant. Following qualification she joined STEPS as a nurse.
During her placements Jennie realised she wanted to specialise in neuro rehab nursing.
Jennie now works clinical shifts at STEPS as a nurse and non clinical days as a social worker, she supports clients and their families with a range of things from discharge planning, MCA and DoLS, CHC checklists, benefits and referrals to other agencies and much more!
When not at work Jennie can be found in the Peak District with her dog and fiancee.
Weakness: Any cheese and gin!
