Karl joined the STEPS team in April 2024. Prior to joining STEPS, Karl worked for a care home specializing in complex needs, ranging from physical to mental health for 20 years. He then transferred to the activities department, becoming an activities coordinator/supervisor. He did this for 10 years before being tasked to be the home's main minibus driver.
In his spare time, he likes music going out and volunteering for disadvantaged children and adults in Sheffield and has spent time in Romania helping young adults.
