Katie joined STEPS in October 2022 after deciding to finally make a the big jump of starting a career within the care sector. She previously worked as a store assistant for over 8 years and has been raising her two young children with her husband.
Katie has always had an interest in helping and caring for others and comes from a long line of health care professionals - Katie’s mum is a cardiac nurse and both her brother and sister in law are paramedics, so she decided that becoming a rehabilitation assistant at STEPS was the obvious next step in her life.
In her spare time Katie enjoys days out with the family, baking with the kids, DIY and watching RuPaul’s Drag Race and Bake Off.
