Fred joined the STEPS team in May 2024. He completed a bachelor's degree in nursing science at The University of Applied Sciences in Seinajoki in Finland. Following this, he moved to Somerset and worked in the adult rehabilitation medical ward. The medical ward included general adult nursing, and post-stroke and post-operative nursing.
Fred moved to London to experience nursing within the liver cancer unit at King's College Hospital and pain treatment and control nursing at St Christopher's Hospice in Sydenham, London.
Outside of work, Fred enjoys hiking, travelling, visiting museums, and a good cup of coffee. Since his arrival in the UK ten years ago, he has assisted in an emergency delivery of a beautiful baby girl which he is very proud of.
