Prior to joining STEPS Rehabilitation, Rebecca worked for the NHS for 15 years. Her roles included working for Paediatric Liaison (children`s safeguarding), Psychological Services and the NHS staff counselling service.
Rebecca also presented a radio show at Crystal radio (Sheffield Childrens` Hospital), and was involved in launching South Yorkshire Eczema Support Group. This was a group which offered parents and carers the opportunity to support each and share experiences of dealing with eczema and allergies. She was also a volunteer at a soup run which offered support and food/drink for people with addictions.
Outside of work, Rebecca has many interests and hobbies. These include eating chocolate, reading books with wonderful titles, cinema, travelling, dancing (randomly), and generally enjoying life to the full. Did we mention eating chocolate.
Rebecca describes working for STEPS as `being enveloped in a warm hug from your work family!
