Developed by EGZOTech, the Meissa OT is an innovative rehabilitation robot designed to support functional upper limb therapy through a combination of electromyography (EMG) and electrostimulation.
Meissa OT detects even the smallest muscle contractions using EMG-assisted movement, encouraging active patient participation throughout the rehabilitation process. This allows therapy to be highly responsive and tailored to each individual’s needs.
The device features five interchangeable therapy tips—ball, key, screwdriver, knob, and handle—each simulating specific daily tasks to help restore fine motor skills and functional movement. Its adjustable range of motion enables therapists to personalise treatment and monitor patient progress effectively.
In addition, Meissa OT integrates a 4-channel electrostimulation system synchronised with the phases of movement, targeting muscles precisely to support motor control, strength, and muscle re-education.
Ideal for individuals recovering from strokes, neurological conditions, spinal cord injuries, or upper limb trauma, the Meissa OT offers a cutting-edge solution for regaining strength, coordination, and independence in everyday activities.
