Stroke rehabilitation is crucial, irrespective of the severity of the stroke suffered, with early rehabilitation having a long-lasting positive impact.
For many people who have survived a stroke, returning home at the point of discharge from hospital isn’t the most appropriate option.
We work closely and collaboratively with the NHS to provide our clients with a stroke rehabilitation programme that is unique to them. We help our clients relearn skills that they lost following a stroke, enabling them to return home and live as independently as possible.
On the 25th February, our client Yvonne returned home, following intensive rehabilitation at STEPS. One of her goals was to walk out of STEPS – here she is doing just that!
