We are delighted to announce the appointment of Annette Broadhead as Quality Assurance Director, who will work closely with the Senior Management team at STEPS to support and advise on best practice and continuous improvement.

Annette brings with her a wealth of experience, working as a Case Manager. She has provided assessment and preparation of costed case management reports for clients who have suffered traumatic injury, and previously worked with Jules and Toria in the year prior to STEPS opening and during the first year.

As a qualified social worker with over twenty years’ experience, Annette has provided specialist services for clients and families with life changing and life limiting conditions and has worked within hospital, hospice, and community settings, providing client centred assessments, carers assessments, care plans, risk assessments, and commissioning of services to provide ongoing support.

She is familiar with statutory services funding streams and has a sound knowledge of Continuing Healthcare Assessments. She is experienced in the recruitment, supervision, and management of staff to support clients.

She is registered with the Health and Care Professional Council (HCPC) and a member of both the Case Management Society UK (CMSUK) and the Spinal Injuries Association (SIA).
