STEPS Rehabilitation are proud to launch a new charitable trust, the STEPS Rehabilitation Foundation, dedicated to providing support and funding for individuals recovering from complex trauma injuries and illness.
The aim is to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities following injury or illness, to help them to access specialist rehabilitation services, equipment adaptations at home and much more. STEPS Rehabilitation Foundation is run by a team of dedicated Trustees, some of whom have life-changing injuries of their own.
The Foundation’s primary focus is to provide funding to individuals who need access to a wide variety of support. The individuals to be supported are likely to have no alternative funding options available to them, such as a personal injury claim or access to other funds.
STEPS Rehabilitation Foundation will work with a range of service providers and suppliers that represent the best value for money and customer service. Here are just some of the therapies, services and support that STEPS Foundation will help to fund:
- Specialist rehabilitation, such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and hydrotherapy.
- Home adaptations
- Disability aids and specialist equipment
- Accessible leisure and sport experiences, services and/or equipment
Although STEPS Rehabilitation and STEPS Prosthetics share the same name as STEPS Foundation, the Foundation operates entirely independently.
Funds that will enable us to do this important work will be raised through a percentage of profits from STEPS Rehabilitation, generous donations from corporations and individuals, charity events, and our annual flagship fundraiser.
If you would like to get involved in a fundraising event, or you are a corporation looking to support us as part of your CSR activities, please get in touch with us.
If you, or someone you know, would like to know more about the application process, please contact us.
