STEPS Rehabilitation is delighted to announce that members of its team will be presenting at the Multidisciplinary Association of Spinal Cord Injury Professionals (MASCIP) 26th Annual Conference, taking place on 21st November 2024. This year’s theme, "Collaboration for Quality: Across the Continuum of Care," will explore strategies to enhance the quality of care for individuals with spinal cord injuries.
The STEPS team will deliver a 10-minute presentation titled "Collaboration between the NHS and private sector: Can we work together to improve rehabilitation and quality of life for those with Spinal Cord Injuries? A private sector perspective." The presenters include:
- Mr Pradeep Thumbikat, Clinical Director of Sheffield Spinal Unit
- Lucy Greensmith, Specialist Occupational Therapist
- Darren Bracken, Clinical Nurse Educator
This presentation will provide insights into the potential for collaborative efforts between the NHS and private sector to enhance rehabilitation outcomes and quality of life for spinal cord injury patients.
