Arleth joined the STEPS team in 2019 as an agency team member and became a permanent Rehabilitation Assistant in April 2021. Since then, she has been a valued member of the team, bringing extensive experience in health and social care.

Originally from Angola, Arleth moved to Italy at a young age, where she completed her primary and secondary education and achieved a Level 2 qualification (GCSE equivalent) in Health and Social Care. Thirteen years ago, she relocated to the UK and continued her studies at Hillsborough College in Sheffield, gaining Level 2 qualifications in Functional Skills Maths and English.

Committed to her professional development, Arleth furthered her education between 2022 and 2024 at Stonebridge College, where she achieved a QAA Access to Higher Education Diploma (Level 3) in Nursing.

Arleth began her healthcare career in 2003, working as a Healthcare Assistant in residential care homes in Italy. After moving to Sheffield in 2013, she continued working in residential care settings from 2016 before joining STEPS, where she continues to support individuals on their rehabilitation journeys.

Arleth’s passion for healthcare comes from her genuine love of helping others. She finds great fulfilment in supporting people to achieve their goals, offering encouragement throughout their recovery process. Her caring nature and commitment to making a positive difference are at the heart of her work every day.
