Jenni is a psychiatrist who originally qualified from Hull York Medical School in 2008. After graduation she completed junior doctor rotations in a variety of departments in the East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire region, including Accident and Emergency, Acute Medicine, Orthopaedics and Psychiatry. After deciding to specialise in Psychiatry Jenni developed a particular interest in the over lap between mind and brain and conditions that challenge our ability to divide diseases into the physical and psychological such as FND and Dementia.
Outside of work Jenni is a keen horse-rider participating in Eventing - the triathlon of the equestrian world. She particularly enjoys bringing on and competing younger horses, as well as applying her knowledge of psychiatry and psychology to promote efficient, ethical training of horses and improving rider performance.
