Lucy joined the STEPS team in September 2026. Lucy recently graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. Throughout her clinical placements, she gained experience across a range of specialisms, including neurorehabilitation, musculoskeletal outpatients and community settings, supporting older adults and adults with learning disabilities. Her placement in neurorehabilitation particularly sparked her interest in the field and inspired her to pursue a career in this area.

Alongside her studies, Lucy gained valuable experience working in retail and customer service, developing her communication and interpersonal skills. She enjoys meeting new people, building positive relationships and continually learning and developing her knowledge.

Lucy is passionate about supporting people to achieve their goals and is looking forward to developing her clinical skills and experience as part of the multidisciplinary team at STEPS.

Outside of work, Lucy enjoys both playing and coaching netball, which she has been involved in for many years. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family, exploring the Peak District on walks and travelling to new places.
