Before joining STEPS Zoe was a business owner with her own sandwich shop. Zoe has also worked in other areas including retail sector as well as child, adult and animal care settings providing her with a wealth of experience.

Zoe began her journey with STEPS Rehabilitation in August 2018 after leaving her job as a Care Assistant. She initially joined as a Rehabilitation Assistant and over the last two years, she was promoted to a senior role and then Lead Rehabilitation Assistant.

Zoe is currently studying a two year trainee Nursing Associate Foundation Degree at the University of Sheffield. The course involves studying nursing at the university alongside her work at STEPS.

The course is split into work-based learning and alternative learning. She has university study days, as well as alternative placements. Zoe's future plans following completion of the two-year course are to continue her studies and complete a Degree in General Nursing.

When not at work, Zoe enjoys traveling, and in particular loves exploring the city of Milan.

Zoe enjoys organising and taking part in fundraising events for various charities. One recent event was to complete a 120 ft abseil of the Owen building in Sheffield for the British Red Cross!
