We are delighted to announce that for the fourth time in the past five years, STEPS Rehabilitation has won ‘Rehab Provider of the Year’ at the national Personal Injury Awards 2022. This prestigious industry award recognises the positive impact that our work is having on those who sustain catastrophic injuries following an accident.
2022 has been another ground-breaking year for STEPS Rehabilitation, which includes the launch of a new partnership with STEPS Prosthetics to deliver an enhanced service to amputee clients. This service includes an on-site workshop enabling us to provide clients swift provision of a prosthetic limb or orthotic device whilst also providing therapy sessions to maximise their independence, mobility and general well-being.
Also new for 2022 was a new collaboration with a Singapore-based rehabilitation robotics company, Fourier Intelligence. This collaboration will advance the knowledge and promotion of rehabilitation robotics to enhance the lives of catastrophically injured clients.
This year marks 5 years since STEPS Rehabilitation opened its doors in Sheffield. We are proud to now employ a team of 162 people and further expansion is planned for 2023 which will enhance our unique offering to clients.
