We are delighted to share that STEPS Rehabilitation will once again be delivering a workshop at RehabWeek 2025, which this year takes place in Chicago, from 12th–16th May. As one of the most prominent international gatherings in the field, RehabWeek brings together thought leaders, innovators, and practitioners from across the rehabilitation technology sector to promote collaboration and knowledge exchange.
With multiple conferences held in parallel, delegates benefit from the unique opportunity to move between disciplines and specialities, fostering connections between clinicians, researchers, engineers, and industry leaders who share a common goal: to improve patient outcomes through advanced rehabilitation solutions.
STEPS Rehabilitation Workshop: Meeting Everyone’s Needs.
On Monday 12th May at 13:45, STEPS Rehabilitation will deliver an engaging and practical workshop titled:
“Meeting Everyone’s Needs: Integrating the ‘Best’ Lower Limb Rehabilitation Technology to Meet the Diverse Needs of Patients in an In-Patient Complex Trauma Rehabilitation Setting.”
Led by Toria Chan (Founder and Clinical Director) alongside Jamie Storey and Scott Pearson, this interactive session will explore the intricacies of selecting and embedding rehabilitation technologies in a specialist residential setting, where patient presentations are complex and wide-ranging, encompassing neurological conditions, spinal cord injuries, amputations, and polytrauma.
Despite a growing range of lower limb rehabilitation technologies available on the market, making informed choices around implementation remains a challenge for many clinical teams. Decisions often come with high resource implications, and evidence for cost-effectiveness is still emerging. This workshop will explore this decision-making process, grounded in real clinical examples and service experiences.
