STEPS Rehabilitation is excited to introduce an eight-week Upper Limb Neurotechnology Group, this eight-week programme is designed to provide the opportunity to access intensive upper limb rehabilitation using a unique range of the latest rehabilitation technology. This group is designed for individuals facing upper limb impairment due to neurological conditions or complex trauma injuries.
Upper Limb Neurotechnology Group
The programme uses the suite of robotics and VR technology, available at STEPS Rehabilitation, including Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES), robotics, virtual reality (VR), and full-body motion capture. This powerful combination offers an intensive, high-repetition, and motivational treatment approach, enhancing therapy for those with upper limb impairment.
Participants will have access to state-of-the-art devices such as ArmMotus™ 2, ArmMotus™ EMU, Handy Rehab™, OTParvos™, and WristMotus™ from Fourier Intelligence, as well as MindMotion® GO, Intento®, and the Izar® from MindMaze.
Tailored Programmes
Participants will have access to multiple devices during the 8-week programme, designed to meet their individual goals.
The technology is programmed to meet individual needs, providing a personalised rehabilitation experience. Participants will undergo a two-hour initial assessment in the first week, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their unique requirements.
Structured 8-Week Programme
The intensive eight-week programme includes three 90-minute sessions per week, held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 12:00 to 13:30. These sessions focus on utilising advanced technology to achieve therapeutic goals.
Final Reassessment Session
The programme concludes with a final reassessment session in the eighth week, allowing participants to review specific outcome measures and enjoy 30 minutes of their 'favourite' technology. A brief discharge report highlighting the progress made during the programme will be provided.

The eight-week programme is priced at £1950, covering all assessments, tailored programmes, therapy sessions and brief report (as above).
