On Thursday 27th February 2020, we were delighted to host the very first Sheffield Curry Night in partnership with AvMA. AvMA raise funds for people affected by avoidable harm in healthcare; to help them achieve justice; and to promote better patient safety for all.
In preparation for the evening, we tapped into our strong network of legal and professional contacts locally and nationally to help make it a sell-out event!
On the evening, guests were treated to a welcome drink and fabulous three-course meal courtesy of The Mogul Room, Sheffield. There was also a raffle, with prizes kindly donate by Scala, 7BR, Premier Medical, Irwin Mitchell, Wrigleys, Online Legal Ltd, Medical Solicitors and Positive OT.
Peter Walsh, Chief Executive of AvMA, who attended on the evening said, “We are extremely grateful to STEPS for hosting the Sheffield curry night, which was a great success and raised much needed funds for our charity. It was very fitting to partner with an organisation that does such great work with people in need and our thanks also to the event sponsors, Parklane Plowden Chambers, Switalskis and everyone who attended.”
A huge thank you to everyone who attended, the event sponsors, Parklane Plowden Chambers and Switalskis Solicitors, The Mogul Room and raffle prize donors for helping us to raise such a fantastic amount.
Keep your eyes peeled for the next Sheffield Curry Night!
