Welcome to STEPS Rehabilitation Foundation, a charitable trust that launched in Autumn 2023. The Foundation is dedicated to providing support and funding for individuals recovering from complex trauma injuries and illness.
Our aim is to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities following injury or illness, to help them access specialist rehabilitation services and equipment. STEPS Rehabilitation Foundation is run by a team of dedicated Trustees, some of whom have life-changing injuries of their own.
The Foundation’s primary focus is to provide funding to individuals who need access to a wide variety of support. The individuals to be supported are likely to have no alternative funding options available to them, such as a personal injury claim or access to other funds.
STEPS Rehabilitation Foundation work with a range of service providers and suppliers that represent the best value for money and customer service. Here are just some of the therapies, services and support that STEPS Foundation will help to fund:
- Specialist rehabilitation, such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and hydrotherapy.
- Home adaptations
- Disability aids and specialist equipment such as wheelchairs
- Accessible leisure and sport experiences, services and/or equipment
Although STEPS Rehabilitation and STEPS Prosthetics share the same name as STEPS Foundation, the Foundation operates entirely independently.
Funds that enable us to do this important work are raised through generous donations from corporations and individuals, charity events, and our annual flagship fundraiser.
