STEPS Rehabilitation is thrilled to announce that its founders, Jules Shiel-Boulger and Toria Chan, have been shortlisted for the prestigious 'People’s Choice: Leader of the Year' award at the Neuro Rehab Times Awards 2024. This award is dedicated to recognising individuals in neurorehabilitation who exemplify outstanding leadership, commitment, compassion, and contribution to their field.
Since opening in May 2017, STEPS has been a pioneer of innovative rehabilitation programmes for individuals recovering from brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, traumatic amputations, and complex trauma. The purpose-built facility in Sheffield combines traditional therapies with state-of-the-art robotic and virtual reality technologies, offering a holistic rehabilitation experience. With all services housed under one roof, including the UK's first Fourier Intelligence ‘RehabHub,’ a therapy gym, hydrotherapy pool, and a suite of advanced rehabilitation technology and equipment such as the LUNA EMG and DST Triple Sense Parallel Bars, clients can reach optimal recovery outcomes.
Jules Shiel-Boulger, Business Development Director, has been instrumental in driving STEPS Rehabilitation’s growth, leveraging her expertise to establish strategic partnerships and position STEPS Rehabilitation as a leader in neurorehabilitation. Toria Chan, Clinical Director, brings over two decades of physiotherapy experience to the role, fostering a client-centred, innovative environment that has set new standards in neurorehabilitation care.
Voting for 'Leader of the Year' will remain open until 4pm on 22nd November 2024, with the winner announced on 29th November.
